YWCA Fort Worth Wedding – Jamie and Mengmeng
We met Jamie and Mengmeng through our awesome friend Stephanie. Jamie and Stephanie are co-workers in what seems like a pretty fun place to work (other than photography!) The environment and the people seem pretty great and we always joke that there is cake every day. Ok maybe not every day but something is celebrated at least once a week that must require cake or some other sugar laden thing of goodness in some form.
Yesterday on facebook I was psyched to see Jamie post pictures of the ”wedding celebration” decorations her co-workers put up in her cube. I got all “jump up and down happy pants” excited! There’s a Chinese dragon… and paper lanterns… and bride and groom cut outs with their faces pasted on. It was pure awesomeness!
Little known fact: I have never worked in a “real” office. I’ve never had a cube. Sometimes I wished I had a cube. What would I do with my cube? Brandon has worked in an office and he’s had a cube decorated with potted plants, maps, magazine cut outs of fancy cars and full on model airplanes, but not me. I really don’t get the humor of The Office and I kinda feel left out. (sniff sniff.) So I live vicariously through the antics of cake, parties, and decor through Stephanie’s pictures. Now Jamie’s too apparently – which for the record I shamelessly pilfered and blurred and shared on the blog, because hello, that really was awesome! ;)
Ok, now that I’ve got that out of my system – on to Jamie and Mengmeng… or you can call them JAMENG. These two super cute people are absolutely made for each other. The first time we met them in person we clicked and knew they were Bella Pop peeps. We got excited to hear about the Groom’s cake (it’s an odd obsession I know) and couldn’t wait to see Mengmeng’s Serenity cake. I loved every detail of the wedding, from the wedding Corgi (the stuffed Corgi’s in honor of their doggie Einstein) to the Chevy Impalas and the his and hers Rocket Dog shoes. It was f a b u l o u s. Oh, and their big day happened to take place at the very same place Brandon and I got married years ago. 8 years as a matter of fact – and we were beyond smitten to be back at the Historic YWCA.
Jamie and Mengmeng, thank you so much for choosing us to be part of your wedding day. It was an honor and a blast!

This was a fun an unique wedding very much in keeping the bride and groom. You captured their light hearted spirit and also their deep love for each other. You apparently get where they are coming from. Great pictures.

The visual record of Jamie and Mengmeng’s wedding is awesome!!! You have a unique style that blended fabulously with the wedding’s individuality and memorable moments. Wonderful photos! I especially loved the ones of the wedding dress, the building(as a memory of where it took place), the fans, the chopsticks, and the collage of the office. Can’t wait to see all of them!
