Speaking of rock… Taryn & Chris rocked the house with their amazing fantabulous OMG first dance! I was told in secret that they had a surprise for the reception, only known to Taryn, Chris, the DJ and us. So here’s the low down – they start off the romantic “traditional” first dance but a few moments after the song starts, there’s a scrraaatch error by the DJ and the music stops and everyone is all, what the ???

The music starts back up and the crazy color lights come on and Taryn & Chris start busting a move, in style of Dance Dance Evolution that is! Oh my gosh this was the funniest and most entertaining first dance we’ve ever seen. They had practiced a lot and kicked it to clips of songs like Baby Got Back, Ice Ice Baby, Grease, Kung Foo Fighting, YMCA, the Chicken Dance, Cotton Eyed Joe and um, lots more.

Everyone was so surprised and laughing and having a great time. Then there was a scrraaatch again and the music went back to the slow dance and they finished the dance. It was fab.

Tomorrow we are going to be meeting up with Taryn & Chris again for a Trash the Dress session. Wooo hoo! And now here are some of my favorites from the wedding…
