Veterans Park Arlington Wedding – Mylynka and Lupe
“Would anyone like to get married today?” That was the question that filtered through the air, throughout the crowd gathered at Veterans Park. From within the crowd of people, a voice replied, “me!” and this gorgeous lady with a tea-length wedding gown and hot pink petticoat pushed her way to the front. Then she needed someone to marry her, so the officiator asked if anyone else wanted to get married to which someone replied, “I do!” and a handsome man in a white suit with a pink tie appeared. Soon there was a need for some attendants and a couple of rings, which were promptly acquired, and the crowd smiled and laughed. The moment was fun, romantic, genuine. And in that moment Mylynka and Lupe said “I do.”
Mylynka and Lupe are two of the most wonderful, sweet, amazing people we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know. Not only are they fabulous clients with great style but they’ve become very good friends. Brandon and I were so excited to shoot their wedding day, which was about 1.5 years in the future from the moment we first met. Well that day finally arrived and it was amazing. There were so many great details to this day: bubbles, kites, ice cold drinks for the adults and kiddos, yummy picnic foods, friends laughing and talking, footballs and a random wedding Arch of foam sabers and swords to boot.

The photography is AMAZING! I so wish I could have been there. Damn that sister-in-law for scheduling her c section to have my nephew! (HA!) I think my favorite photo is the black and white picture of you in your dress, probably before the ceremony, and you look as if you are exhaling a deep breath. Congrats!

Hi! Mylynka and Lupe. Delightful photographs to remember such a special day. A wee Scottish toast to the happy couple. ‘Lang may yer lum reek.’ (Translation: Long may your chimney smoke.
