Texas Ranch Wedding
Dubbed “the best weekend ever” by our newlyweds, this romantic and quaint outdoor celebration took place at a family ranch near West, Texas. The weather was absolutely perfect this day and the golden afternoon light was simply gorgeous. I loved all the details of their wedding day: bridesmaids wearing boots, sunflowers everywhere, Sara and Jason’s precious pups walking down the aisle, twinkle lights, candles…
The family ranch is a place Sara and Jason love to frequent on the weekends to escape the big city. It’s that place where you can chill and catch up with family and friends, where their dogs Cooper and Koda can get into all kinds of mischief (like getting sprayed by a skunk) and where you can just lay back at night and gaze up at the stars. There didn’t seem to be a more fitting place for such a romantic day for these two. Sara and Jason exchanged vows in front of a fireplace (the place a house once stood) surrounded by family and friends. Almost all the guests stayed the weekend at the ranch and you could hitch a ride from one cottage to another on a golf cart.
The big celebration took place at the barn, where family and friends had strung a multitude of white lights and even built a dance floor. We really loved that Sara and Jason commissioned an artist to paint “the scene” so now they have an original painting of their first dance. Such a cool idea!! There was lots of dancing and laughter, including a moment when the Bride and Groom serenaded each other to Salt n Pepa’s Shoop. It was indeed the best weekend ever. Thanks so much Sara and Jason for giving us the honor of being part of such a fabulous day!
Sara’s wedding dress was to die for! I loved it soooooo much. It reminded me of vintage Hollywood glamour.

YEAH!!!! Of course I have seen these already, but it just reminded me of what an awesome job you guys did and how much fun that weekend was. I just felt the urge to take a ranch trip!
