Sweet Potato Fry & Shut My Mouth

More images from our weekend trip to Mineola, Texas. First off, I do not like sweet potatoes and I still pass them up at Thanksgiving. Oddly enough, when I first ate at East Texas Burger Company I snatched one of Brandon’s sweet potato fries and it was love at first bite. Needless to say I couldn’t wait to get to Mineola so we could have lunch there again.

Strangely disturbing giant burger statue. Don’t ask me why.

Took these pictures the next day, so I’m not going to torture you with a bacon cheeseburger image! I was so hungry and anxious to get to East TX Burger Co. I forgot to take the camera.

No, we didn’t stay here. But I liked the sign!

One of my favorite stores in Mineola, the Dragonfly Art Studio. Owners Melissa Till & Sophie Crowson create unique one of a kind fused & stained glass art here. I always find something I love – they carry jewelry, art, chimes and wonderful smelling essential oils.

Another one of my favorite places to stop by at… Retroactive! I always have fun digging through the vintage clothes. Found a super cute pair of red & white polka dot pumps but dang they were not my size! I tried to squeeze my big ‘ol size 8s into the dainty 7 but it was a no go. Right next door to Retroactive is the worn boots store. I’m not a big boot girl myself, but some of ya’ll might like to know about it.

A random drugstore sign. I love signs : )

For tomorrow: Boudoir fashion links.
