Space Needle – Seattle

Our last full day in Seattle involved sleeping in, skipping breakfast and heading straight to the Space Needle. We ended up having a late lunch at a little taco joint. Bought the combo pass for the Space Needle so we could see it during the day and at night. Walked around the sculpture park, had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory then headed back to the Space Needle for the evening hours. After all that city walking and the fact that we needed to pack, we ended up back at our hotel by 10:00 pm. Our flight left early the next day.

Not sure why I didn’t think of it then (lack of caffeine I’m sure) but I decided to video the elevator to the top of the Space Needle during our evening tour. While I was especially excited about the sights during the day, night time gave me the heebie jeebies. It was that feeling that there’s nothing under you and you were going to fall – plus it was really windy that night. LOL
