More student work (aka photo eye candy!!) Today’s photos are from Bella Pop students taking my Shooting with Natural Light class (photo 103.) Lots of people ask “can I take 103 before 102?” and the answer is: yep, you sure can! The only prerequisite for either class is that you have taken Shooting in Manual (photo 101) OR you already know how to shoot in manual. So if you’re itching to get better working with natural light, you *can* take it before Composition and Design (photo 102.) Woot woot!
In this class we learn all about the different kinds of natural light and most importantly how to shoot in different lighting situations. The good, the bad and the ugly! ;) Even good light is not all perfect light (yes, even on cloudy days!) Knowing how to find and shoot with the best quality natural light makes a world of difference in photography… especially for portraits and weddings. It can be pretty frustrating too, but anyone can learn to shoot with natural light! Just check out these gorgeous student images…
Jessica J. used a beautiful sunset to capture this stunning silhouette… she calls it “show me your muscles” how cute is that?
Another one from Jessica J. - Oh I just love cats and oh my gosh this is too cute! The window lighting here is awesome. (Hey B, I don’t *have* a tuxedo kitty… just sayin’) ;)
Arica O. captured this beautiful maternity portrait, I just love how her blue eyes sparkle and just look at the colors! Gorgeous.
Nikki D. rocked the golden light of sunset with this lovely portrait. The colors here are so rich and vibrant and her skin just glows… LOVE it!
Awwwww another cuddly pet photo. Totally crushing on this little pup! Kayla N. used some golden backlighting for a nice, dreamy glow. Super cute!
Wow! Look how amazing her eyes sparkle! Katie Q’s daughter is just adorable here and this window light is the bee’s knees!
