Not gonna lie, we wrapped up our road trip a little early and ended up being home for a few days rest. It was crazy, this whole spontaneous travel thing and it really took it out of us.  We had a great time though and absolutely LOVED our little trip East to Louisiana with those muggy days, spicy food, and of course gators with a penchant for marshmallows and hotdogs.

Next time however, I’m returning to my “plan plan and plan some more” method of travel.  While packing up the car with no idea where we’re heading and throwing caution to the wind seems exciting (and at times, it was) we also wasted lots of travel time.  How could I ever forget the four hours driving around NOLA looking for a place to stay that night?  Good times, good times!

Brandon has actually googled lenses that you can buy to use on the iPhone.  We are so going to get those lenses!  Also Brandon cheerfully snapped vacation shots with his new Holga camera (a gift from me for Christmas 2009.)  As soon as he finishes the roll and gets the film developed we’ll share those too!
