Identity Theft – Dallas Wedding Cover Band

Bella Pop has a love/obsession with Identity Theft.  The Dallas cover band that is. And we’re thinking you will too.

So here’s the story:  People kept telling us about this band.  That they were so awesome / cool / fresh / could rock Lada Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, 80′s rock bands… and all this stuff.  That wedding receptions were THE BOMB with Identity Theft in the house.  That they were the BEST wedding band ever!  But we never bumped into this band and had yet to hear them live.  Then one day one of our couples asked if we could recommend some wedding bands.  Oh gosh, we had no idea.  But then I remembered that band everyone talked about.  ”So there’s this band, called Identity Theft,” I wrote Christine… “and people say they are amazing.  you should totally check them out!”  And then I forgot about it.

Fast forward to Christine and Andy’s wedding reception.  There we are doing our thing, and this band is rocking the party!  They were so awesome / cool / fresh and people were loving it.  The whole time I was all, who is this band?  Could it be Identity Theft?  Could it be?  Cause really I had no idea.  But yeah, they booked them and their reception rocked!!

seriously… it. was. amazing.

The rest (as we say) is history.   The entire ride home after the wedding I was all “I wanna be in a band!” and bla bla bla, Identity Theft this, IDT that.  We’ve since become friends and as it turns out Jared, Ashley, Colby, Brian and Paul are even more awesome to hang out with.  Yeah, Bella Pop + Identity Theft = BFF!  I promise I’m not a stalker guys!! Anyway… we love IDT so much we decided they could use a few updated promo pics.  We met up for a last minute photo shoot in Deep Ellum then ended up hanging out for burgers and general insanity after.  Colby had a nifty video camera and they kept filming all kinds of funny stuff during the shoot.  So I hate to admit there’s some live behind the scenes footage of our hijinks.  We got a ton of great pics here are just a few of our favorites… I’m sure this won’t be the last time we shoot this band.  so. much. fun!

So yeah, that’s the story of a girl and a guy (Bella Pop) and their LOVE of this cover band called Identity Theft.  Of course, Identity Theft is a cover band, not just a wedding band.  They play clubs, big events and any place people need to PAR-TAY.  Even so, they are an AMAZING wedding band!! For real brides and grooms:  if you want your reception to ROCK like no other, get with IDT band asap!  They’re starting to book dates fast, so get on the ball!   ;)
