Snow Day
Once upon a time, I innocently stumbled upon a little Mr. Potato Head kiosk at Disney World. It was at the Pop Century Resort gift shop as a matter of fact. I was vacationing with my mom Sandy for a fun mother/daughter trip. Being that I hadn’t had a potato head since I was a kid, I was filled with nostalgia. We pondered buying a potato head but continued on our way.
Later during the same trip, we discovered the mother lode of potato head parts at a store in the Downtown Disney Marketplace. As it turned out, we could not control ourselves with all these potato head parts. It went like this: take a box and stuff it as much as humanely possible for only $18 bucks – we. went. crazy. Like, “guess what Brandon? I brought home three boxes of potato head parts!!” crazy. And that, my friends, is how Mad Tater was born.
So… Mad Tater (and friends) had a snow day. He is one cool spud.

Green Oaks Wedding Chapel Arlington – Audree and Justin
In June 2009 Brandon and I photographed the gorgeous wedding of Audree and Justin. We met up with Audree and her girls at Toni and Guy, hit up La Madeline for lunch with the girls, then it was off to the festivities at the Arlington Green Oaks Wedding Chapel. I loved all the little details of Audree and Justin’s big day: the colors turquoise and green, paper fans adorned with flowers, Catwoman and Batman on the groom’s cake, Audree’s dress, and of course the absolute energy and excitement of these two wonderful people. Audree and Justin, we wish you the very best for all the years to come! xoxo Brandy and Brandon (for more images please view the slideshow at the end of this post.)
