Libby – Our Vintage Camper Trailer!

Here’s the story of the cutest. little. camper. ever. Seriously, I love our vintage camper! Her name is “Libby” and she’s a 1966 Williams Craft with wrap around windows, original turquoise sink, stove and vintage starburst backsplash. SWOON. My cousin G found her in Amarillo and paid a whopping $800.00 for her. FOR REAL. Then I became obsessed and had to pay some $$$ to get him to part with her. Then we had to fix her up and do a rebuild. I’ll never regret it… she’s worth every penny!

Big Hair, Little Shorts and Super Cute Babies

I’ve spent a lot of time with my family lately. A couple weeks ago we lost a dear cousin of ours, she was the life of the party. She always had this big smile on her face and made you laugh SO much. One evening we sat around my Aunt Paulette’s table pouring over family photos, collecting ones of Becky for a tribute. And gosh, these photos made us laugh. Made us smile. And laugh some more. There was plenty of “big hair” and little shorts. Super cute babies and way too much fun. I snagged a few from Aunt Paulette with the ABSOLUTE promise to bring them back safely (and timely!) Wanted to scan some of my favorites and share them with you. It’s been too quiet on the blog lately, after all.

Becky, we love you and miss you!

Family Reunion 1976

LOVE this pic of my family. Family reunion, 1976-77? My brother is the little boy on the bottom left in the blue and yellow shirt (hands on his chin.) My sister is the adorable little girl in the flowered shirt just to the right of him. There’s Becky back row, smack in the middle with her gray and blue print t-shirt. She’s right next to my mom in the red shorts and tan shirt. Oh and there’s my dad! He’s two spots to the left of my mom in a navy shirt. AWWWWW.

oh my gosh. just one of the cutest pictures ever! Taken by our late Uncle Donald. There’s my grandma and grandpa in the middle, and see the girl on the bottom right with the banjo? My beautiful mom! Not to mention, all my awesome aunts, uncles and cousins.

Vintage Williams Craft camper

I totally squealed out loud when I found these two pictures. They are the Camper Queen’s first camper!!!  Yes, Aunt Paulette and Uncle Danney were the first in the family to get a camper so everyone dubbed Paulette the Camper Queen. It was a super cute, brand new Williams Craft camper! I’ll have to ask her what year it was, totally forgot. This photo was taken in the 80′s though.

Family Reunion

Remember when perms were the rage? HA HA I think everyone had a perm that year! There’s Becky again in the red shirt, next to my cousin Bunny in the blue swimsuit. p.s. nice shorts, cousin Guy. ;) Really, I dig the color!!

Hope everyone is doing great! I’ll try to blog a little more soon, getting back into the swing of things. Can’t believe it’s almost May! xoxo B
