Blog Love – Wedding Inspiration

I emailed her about picking out pictures to try and submit her wedding on Style Me Pretty (yeah, we have yet to submit to any wedding blogs, how sad is that?!) and she replied, H.O.W. did I just find out about this website!?! I have no idea why but I just assumed Kyndal (one of our amazing Bella Pop brides turned friends turned wedding design guru) knew about this site.  And just then my heart sank and I messaged back:  OH MY GOODNESS!  You didn’t know about Style Me Pretty???? I feel like I failed you as your wedding photographer. Just because I never told her about Style Me Pretty.  Even so, Kyndal and Levi’s wedding was amazing!  She’s super talented and we are very excited to see what the future brings for her in helping other brides plan their weddings.  Her brand spanking new blog Leftover Lemons is going to be a blog to watch.  And consequently, she now has a new obsession to add to her list… (stalking SMP!)  ;)

So yeah… my whole little realization prompted this Getting Marrieeed blog post.  That being said, to all our Bella Pop brides and grooms… anyone planning a wedding or people who just love pretty pretty things… check out the following blogs for major eye candy and inspiration!  Here are a few of our favorites (so far!!)

Offbeat Bride is just about my FAVORITE wedding blog.  Ever.  Why?  Because it’s all about planning a wedding that is true to you and your fiance.  It doesn’t matter if you’re quirky, nerdy, romantic, bookish, or just a little offbeat.  It’s all about love and celebrating that love.  Here on Offbeat Bride you’ll find “wedding porn” (don’t worry, it’s just drool worthy images of real weddings) as well as budget ideas (yes, you can have an amazing wedding without breaking the bank!) DIY ideas, and plenty of inspiration to be unique and find YOUR style.  LOVE.

Rock n Roll Bride is another great wedding blog for couples who really want to ROCK their wedding day, their way. Again we find the main idea behind Rock n Roll bride is YOU.  It’s about being yourself, doing what YOU want for your wedding day.  What might work for someone might not tickle someone else pink (and vice versa.) We absolutely love when our couples embrace their personalities and incorporate things they love.  Here you’ll find lots of wedding inspiration plus tips for wedding planning, dealing with wedding stress, and all kinds of good stuff.

Groom Sold Separately is another wedding blog worth checking out.  It’s actually ran by local gals (shout out to Amy and Tamra!) and here you’ll find lots of great Real Wedding posts (many featuring local vendors for Dallas – Fort Worth.)  We also love the inspiration boards, ideas and other fun posts!  We can’t wait to watch GSS grow over the next few years!  This is a great place to find lots of Real Weddings native to our area.   :)

LOVE the The Wedding Chicks!! Here you’ll find romantic and vintage wedding ideas along with DIY and downloads galore.  We absolutely love their detail and favor wedding projects not to mention their seasonal projects too!  There are also video tutorials (swoon!) and even a “bride blog” featuring real brides and their stories about their wedding day.  And of course, lots of gorgeous real weddings for creative inspiration.  :)

What can I say about Style Me Pretty?  Be still, my heart (or as Kyndal said: how did I just find out about this site??!!)  Yeah, it’s pretty much wedding bonanza.  Drop dead gorgeous ideas from all kinds of styles and viewpoints.  You’ll find inspiration for modern and contemporary weddings, vintage, DIY, budget beautiful, backyard weddings, traditional, cultural and whimsy to boot.  We love love love the DIY projects and real wedding features (searchable by the style of wedding you’re planning.)  An absolute must!

Last but not least, Green Wedding Shoes is a wedding blog based out of Southern California.  Wedding inspiration heaven again, you’ll find lots of eye candy for vineyard, beach, rustic, vintage, modern, whimsical and of course green eco-friendly weddings.  You’ll also find styled photo shoots and realllllllly cute DIY ideas.  Love this blog!!
