Hi there!  I’m Brandy… married to this guy named Brandon. Yes, Brandy and Brandon. How cute is that…right?  ;)  I’m obsessed with bright colors / vintage / rock and roll / food / travel / making a mess / and taking pictures.  Woo hoo!  Photography!  So much so that in 2007 I got this crazzzzzy idea to be a wedding photographer.  It was innocent enough, if you overlooked the fact that I had no clue how to shoot a fancy camera and all my friends were already married.

Even so… I bought the gear, hit the books and took a ton of pics.  I launched Bella Pop in 2008, taught B how to shoot and brought him over to the dark side.  Yeah, now he takes pictures too.   Since then we’ve met some pretty awesome people.  After a while we started getting random camera questions:  what kind of camera to buy, what’s the best lens for my vacation, how the heck do you capture sunflare?  So we started hosting Bella Pop social shoots and offered in-person classes all while taking pretty pictures.  It’s been crazy fun.

Today I’m teaching online photography classes full time while shooting a limited number of weddings and portraits.  Bella Pop has turned into this fun, fresh, laugh out loud kinda life style blog.  Here at my blog-site you’ll find photography and camera tips, pretty pictures, my latest obsessions, our personal adventures, recipes and everyday tomfoolery.  If you’re a new reader, fellow photographer or have any questions at all feel free to say hello!  Thanks so much for stopping by!
