It’s been a long time since I’ve posted some of our favorite things (and by long time I’m talking the color crinoline and super cool ties posts back in January 2009!) We’re ready to rock the new year with fun new features to the blog so without further ado we are bringing back the idea posts...

We met Jamie and Mengmeng through our awesome friend Stephanie. Jamie and Stephanie are co-workers in what seems like a pretty fun place to work (other than photography!) The environment and the people seem pretty great and we always joke that there is cake every day. Ok maybe not every day but something is celebrated...

Ooohhhh!! Love it! These photos are awesome and showcase a fun and beautiful wedding! The photo of the groom looking in the mirror cracked me up! The YWCA looks beautiful…the ballroom is still fabulous!
Wonderful photos for the wonderful couple! I love Mengmeng’s face as he contemplates his hair! And the b&w one of Jamie tormenting him with mini!Ein… and the one of her getting her makeup done… They’re all too good! I can’t decide.
This was a fun an unique wedding very much in keeping the bride and groom. You captured their light hearted spirit and also their deep love for each other. You apparently get where they are coming from. Great pictures.

The visual record of Jamie and Mengmeng’s wedding is awesome!!! You have a unique style that blended fabulously with the wedding’s individuality and memorable moments. Wonderful photos! I especially loved the ones of the wedding dress, the building(as a memory of where it took place), the fans, the chopsticks, and the collage of the office. Can’t wait to see all of them!

NO WAY!!! Blake and I love the general idea behind The Buried Life show and just watched this episode – I had no idea that guy was trying to impersonate Bella Pop! No wonder he got nabbed so fast, it was obvious he wasn’t awesome enough to be legit. ;o) Time to find a rerun so I can search for you guys in the crowd.

I recently met Cari here in Katy and she told me to watch for her on the MTV show and that I would see some footage of her wedding and “the weding crashers.” The first thing I said the next day when I saw her was, “I want to see more of your wedding.” This was a great opportunity to see it all. I was going to try to pick my fave shot but they are all great! I do love the one of the rings in the sugar! Not only should those guys from Buried Life researched the Gaylord, they should have researched the COUPLE. Since they went to high school together, everyone knew who was who.
